Need something to occupy your primary aged children with during school holidays? Well, look no further! The City of Monash runs three Holiday Programs; Jordanville Community Centre (JCC) on Batesford Rd in Chadstone, Sussex Heights Primary School, Mt Waverley and Glendal Primary school, Glen Waverley. Each school holidays we run fun activities for children aged 5 – 12 across Monash and all sites will run from Monday 26th September till Friday 7th October.
So, join us for lots of fun at Council's next School Holiday Programs. Celebrate Chinese national day, and learn about the Chinese Zodiac. Dive into the ocean, find the hidden treasures and discover what is underneath. Explore the outdoors and be a 'happy camper' for the day, test your scout skills and make your very own tent. Discover your environment, create naturalistic craft and test your sences on environment day. This program we will also get active with a sports clinic. Enjoy the outdoors and the wildlife at Healesville Santuary, create some animal crafts and participate in some wildlife games. Become a scientist and discover electricity by learning about circuits to make light, sound and movement and make your very ownelectromagnetic clowns.
There is so much more to do at the program so pick up an enrolment brochure from most local schools and public libraries in Monash. Check out how easy it is to be added to our enrolment brochure mailing list by filling in your details below. Bookings open Monday 5th September and close Friday 16th September 2011. Fees are $43.00 for a centre based day and $54.00 for an excursion day per child but reduces significantly with your Child Care Benefit (CCB). Call the Family Assistance Office to determine your CCB on 13 61 50.
