Do you have what it takes to be the next big band?

The annual Monash FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands will be held on Friday August 26 at Brentwood Secondary College, and we expect this year to be bigger and better than ever. Entries are now open to bands who live, work, recreate or study in the City of Monash. First place will win a recording prize, and gets to play at the Push Start Regional Finals, with the chance to play at Push Over Festival in 2012!

The battle is a great opportunity for young bands to get a kick start in the music industry, and share the stage with other local performers. Entries Close August 5 so get in fast.

The committee of young people who are responsible for organising this event each year, ‘Quiksound Productions’- the FReeZA group for the City of Monash, volunteer their time and will be working the stage, venue, promotion and everything else related to the lead up and running of this event.
