What is VOLuME?

VOLuME is the new committee responsible for exploring, planning and delivering the next community volunteer project. MYFS are now calling for young people aged 10-25 years who would like to be involved.

What will you get out of it?

  • gain experience working within a team,
  • develop skills in project management,
  • learn about the needs in your community, and
  • create new friendships.

These skills can be a valuable contribution to your resume and other future endeavours.

Paint Your Heart Out! Youth Week 2011

Kick-start your holidays by volunteering in your community!  A youth residential house in Monash was damaged by the recent heavy rain and floods.  Young volunteers will take on the challenge of painting the entire house in just one day.  We’re going to have DJs, food, drinks, a BBQ lunch and a bucket load of fun.  So join the team and ‘Paint your heart out!’ on Saturday 9th April.
