Youth Ambassadors

Are you aged 10-25 years old and interested in giving voice to the concerns and priorities of local young people?

We’d like you to contribute to the development of a new Monash Youth Plan by becoming a Youth Ambassador.

Every year Council creates a Youth Plan that identifies what Monash's young people value most, what they would like to see improved, and the actions Council will take to support young people. The last Youth Action Plan identified mental health (particularly issues of anxiety, depression and self-harm) as the number one issue of concern to local young people. Our Youth Ambassadors get out and about in the community, and gather views from young people about what’s important to them. Ambassadors also meet with Council departments to discuss ideas and let Council staff know what young people are interested in.
